New to VideoStudio 2018 Ultimate is the
3D Title Editor. This editor allows you to make compelling and highly
customizable animated 3D titles. To access the 3D Title Editor, click the icon here. Or start with a preset by clicking Titles>3D Titles. Drag a preset to the Timeline. Double-click the title to load the 3D Title Editor. First, replace the placeholder text. Then change the font and other text settings. Choose a surface color and a specular color, the color of the highlights on the text. Now let’s animate
the text. First, drag the scrubber to the end position for the text. Click the Move icon, and drag the text in the Preview pane. If you position the scrubber at the start of the clip, and move the text outside the Preview pane, the text moves into view as part of the animation. VideoStudio creates key frames for each change. We can drag key frames to fine-tune the movement. To add rotation, click the Rotation icon, and drag the text. You can do the same with text size. The text color and opacity can also evolve over time. For more creative
effects, access presets on the Presets panel. Change the lighting. Or how the virtual camera projects the 3D aspects of your title. Or, adjust the bevel. Or, adjust the material. You can edit multiple text objects. In the Presets panel, select a new Text Object preset. The text is added to the Preview pane and is selected in the Object List. The new text can be edited separately. You can delete text layers by clicking here. When you’re done, click OK to add the
finished title to your project.
