Software For Video Editing (Top 4)

October 3, 2019

– I’m gonna tell you the
best software options for video editing, and
we’re starting right now. (bass-heavy, hip hop music) What is goin’ on? My name is Nick. Welcome to another video. If this is your first time
here, and you wanna learn how to grow your channel, make videos, and all types of other
YouTube related stuff, start now by subscribing
and clicking the bell so you don’t miss anything. There are two free softwares on this list, and there are two paid
softwares on this list. In order to make this
list, I have the qualifier that the software that is on this list needs to be able to
make pro-quality videos. What that means is, you have to be able to
use multiple tracks, which basically means
that you can stack videos or photos on top of each other, so you can use B-roll footage and things like that in your videos. They also have to have
multiple audio tracks so that you can add
multiple layers of audio. That’s so that you can add
music and sound effects or additional layers of music or whatever. Number one on this list is Adobe Premiere. It’s a paid piece of software, and it’s pretty much the industry standard when it comes to really making
your stuff look awesome. The really cool thing about Adobe Premiere is that they make everything for it. It doesn’t matter if you’re
looking for color plug-ins, it doesn’t matter if you’re
looking for like motion stuff. Whatever you want, they
make it for Adobe Premiere. Because, like I said a second ago, it’s pretty much an industry standard. Adobe Premiere is also
available for PC and Mac users, so it doesn’t matter which ones you’re on, Adobe Premiere has you covered. Next up on this list, is Vegas Pro, and this is what I use, it is
a fantastic piece of software. It’s not Adobe Premiere, but it’s still a high level software. It allows you to do tons
of really creative things and it really gets the job done. I mean you can watch any of my videos, and you can see all the
different things that I do. As a matter of fact, here’s
a little clip for you of something that I made in Vegas. (water flowing) (relaxing, serene music) (speaking in foreign language) (laughs) (speaking foreign language) Okay. Bye. (engine starts) (speaking foreign language) (uplifting, energizing beat) Whew. – Now, to my understanding
Vegas is PC only, but if you are a Mac user you
can default to Final Cut Pro, and Final Cut Pro is also another very high level editing software. Again, it’s not Premiere, but
it really gets the job done and it’s really all that you need in terms of all the different features that it has. My buddy Brian D. Johnson uses Final Cut. I’ll actually put a link
to him right up here if you wanna go check out his channel and see how his videos are edited and how all that stuff comes
together inside of Final Cut. Some free software is HitFilm Express. HitFilm is an awesome piece of software. It even has built-in motion graphics to where if you wanna have
explosions and things like that. You can do pretty much all of
it inside of HitFilm Express. It’s free. They have tons of awesome stuff inside. It’s really easy to use
and it’s just awesome. Especially if you’re on
a budget of some kind or you’re just starting to make videos, and you’re not really sure
if it’s gonna be something that you’re gonna do long term. You don’t have the money to invest, or you don’t want to invest in it yet. HitFilm is a fantastic solution for you. Also, if you are editing
videos on you phone currently or if you’re wanting to
edit videos on your phone, I’m gonna put a link to
another video up here, that is specifically for phone users. Phone editors, I mean. Next up on the list is DaVinci Resolve. Now, DaVinci Resolve is a pro-level editor in terms of like their color
correction capabilities and just their editing
capabilities in general. It’s a fantastic piece of software and a lot of people really recommend it as “the go-to free software
for video editing” If you wanna learn more
about growing your channel, making videos and all types of
other YouTube related stuff, start now by hitting
the round subscribe icon so you don’t miss anything. Thank you so much for watching. I’ll see you next time.
