Photoshop freezes when using Wacom

November 12, 2019

hi everyone in this video we’ll go over
some problems Windows 10 causes in Photoshop when
trying to work. not everybody uses Wacon in Photoshop, but if you do you’ll notice
all kinds of strange things when you press “Alt” for example it
shows the words “Alt” “Ctrl+Alt” and if you click and hold then it’s it does some sort of circle, and worst of all sometimes it even causes Photoshop
to freeze all together for 20-30 sec until it releases and you can
work again. so this is basically a video on how to disable all these things. so you can work normally in Photoshop without any interference from the
operating system. first thing you need to do is go to your control panel Write control here, and bring up
this menu Write “Pen and Touch”… okay so that’s the start. basically here we’re
gonna disable press and hold which is an annoying thing that happens with the
circle building up when you press the the Wacom pen on the surface. then are we gonna uncheck these two that’s half the way preventing these things from
appearing so if we try it now you see the long press and hold was removed
but we still have the “Alt” and “Ctrl” things that appear, and Photoshop still freezes randomly, so next thing we’ll do is just call up our Wacom Wacom settings, bring them over.
go to mapping and uncheck use Windows Inc it could be on another menu here but
you’re looking for use Windows Inc you’re going to disable this and then
finally and hopefully all the additions of Windows 10 will be removed and you won’t be having any more freezing and strange additions Photoshop when you work.
that’s it, hope it helped

I'm trying to use Photoshop on my laptop upstairs, but using my Wacom tablet, the cursor freezes and will not move at all. The tablet works everywhere else, and Photoshop itself works fine without the tablet, but that's unfortunately inefficient for me. Do you know what could be causing this?

Thank you 🙌🙌🙌 I originally thought it was my Ram. After installing another 16GB Ram I was having the same issue and considering selling my laptop 😂

Does anybody know if taking this measures will affect the use of my Wacom with Zbrush? PS freezing is really annoying but I don´t want to break something else.
