Welcome to this ACMP how to video, my name is Sascha Limberger and today I would like to show you how you can easily create administrative scripts using the client command editor. For this, firstly switch to the point client commands then in the creation phase. In the creation phase I have already shown you have you can create simple software packages using the package wizard. These software packages can also be edited using the client command editor, with the editor you can start on the green grass and can single-handedly create small scripts which you can deploy on all your computers For this, we will first switch to the editor which I will maximize and then I can start editing. In the console script you can place scripts which respectively include administrative pages for example about the handing over of a password and then transmit something to the client script page. In this video we would just like to place a command in the client script page herefor, I can just select a command from the commands that are currently at hand there are quite a few commands here for example for the section printer, processor and others Today we need the section under user management the set password for local user command Here I will enter a user in this case the administrator where I would like to change the password I will enter my password here and I need to confirm one more time now I can already affirm the process by click ok If you are not sure what has been entered in the command you can always use the help button. Which name should I give my client command; set new admin password and I can affirm by clicking ok thereafter, my client command will be stored and I can gohead and test it right away. You need to wait untill the disc on the top left changes from blue to grey then, you can see that it has been successfully stored now we can close the editor. Now my new command will been shown here the version is 1 the status is currently still on create, we are going to change it first right click, send to test phase now the status will change and now I can proceed with the test. To test the client command I a have to go to the top and click on test phase at the top or I can also use the menu tree on the leftside of course this will also work and now I can just doubleclick on my client command I have my defined test environment where my Windows 10 computer appears which I can select and carry out it runs parallelly already this means that we can switch in the follow up in the job monitor and we can take a look here whether the whole process has already beeen carried out. We can see that it’s starting and now I can update and it ahs already been successfully carried out and now I can a take a look at the detail protocol. For this I will doubleclick on the computer that has run this script then i will receive the client command lov viewer Here i can see that the password for the administrator was successfully changed, I can close both and with this I have successfully tested my client command and I can release it and I deploy it on all my computers.
