Hi dji is this app free?

  • Reply Bobster986 August 18, 2015 at 8:03 pm

It would be good if additional trimming of the clip could be done after selecting them, plus a feature to add custom titles, transitional effects and add your own (longer length) music. Oh, and as for uploading it to social media sites, where is YouTube and Vimeo?

  • Reply J T August 22, 2015 at 2:31 pm

I have the most updated DJI Go app, why am I missing a ton of the templates? I only have about 6 30 second templates

  • Reply QaaUz August 29, 2015 at 10:27 pm

Getting better all the time – the lack of audio is an issue – fixed to templates. There are other solutions to further editing, so I see this as a means of relatively quickly converting raw footage to viewable 'preview' material.
I am more concerned with getting the footage or shots, and the software cannot map a path and is of little use in surveying and assessing at present. The fancy upload of semi edited footage is of little use in some cases – and the presence of network must also be irrelevant.
The work seems 'marvelous' and the product of dedication – and being on the front edge of the development, may at times be a little akward for the consumer whilst also giving the experience of the development in field.

  • Reply Eduardo Lira September 16, 2015 at 10:04 pm

Any way to add transitions between the clips?
I have not seen this option in the app

    Thank you

  • Reply Paul Wheeler November 12, 2016 at 4:26 pm

you state that the DJI Go app will automatically store the real-time HD video in mobile devices memory while shooting. This is not true. I have called DJI about this and they confirmed that this does not happen. And when i try to download a recorded video(1980/1080 48fps, 60fps) onto my IPad Air directly from the SD card while its in the Phantom, it wont do that either.

Can you skip the order of the editing steps : lets say I do not want to trim the video nor add music yet but I first want to directly do contrast editing.

  • Reply Shawna Selline March 14, 2017 at 1:11 am

HOW TO EXPORT VIDEO TO COMPUTER (RE OSMO MOBILE) . CONNECT CAMERA TO OSMO. While camera is on in OSMO, the screen offers choices. Select the play icon. Select desired video. Find square icon on lower left and tap. This "saves" your video BUT WAIT. You then tap the "share" icon on the lower right. The share screen offers social media choices. Choose NONE of them and tap "Share". This downloads content to your phone's library and you can access it from there on your computer.

  • Reply Russell Mae May 1, 2017 at 7:00 pm

I exported the videos from the app to my phone, then downloaded to my laptop. Now editing on final cut pro, I had to adjust all the videos from portrait to landscape THEN had to adjust again because the picture is small and stays at the corner of the view finder on the final cut pro. Now I finished editing, saw that all clips are in the middle of the screen but after exporting everything is just messed up. Such a hassle that I have to change the orientation then adjust the size and position of the whole clip. SUCH A HASSLE.

Hi DJI community. Actually there's a simpler way, just download 'Sync for DJI' app (it is only for iOS for now). There is no Video editor but it works smoothly then original DJI app. After flying just open the app and choose images that you want download. After a few minutes your media will be on your phone in original size. 'Sync for DJI' supports even 4K video.

if you dont download the video from app and use computer or direct Sd Card to your phone none of them will be with effect and u need to do everything manual , transferring them take for ever. None of the quick shots videos will have effect and slow and fast motion with music if u copy it from SD card or to computer . need to only directly download from wifi connection..

It doesn’t work. Tried a godzillion times but app won’t save images of the SD card while still in the drone. Only way is to have card reader and computer. The editor in the app is useless especially for iPhone or iPad. I have downloaded Sync for DJI app and that managed to wipe my SD card completely. Poor show this day and age.

  • Reply Charles Waldrop May 5, 2019 at 11:30 pm

Buyer Beware! All DJI "tutorials" are just glorified infomercials. For example fast forward into a 5 minute quick start video 4 minutes and they are just connecting the prop guards together and not even on the bird yet all the while telling you how advanced and wonderful the product is. DJI is no help. Luckily there are many many great non DJI tutorials out there.
