When i try to add a flv-file i have i get errormessage: "The file blablabla.flv could not be imported. The source compression type is not supported". Is there anything i have to install to get the encoder to encode flv to wmv ?

I get the same message "The source compression type is not supported". What does this mean?

There is nothing that should be installed What version of media encoder are you using? Also check out the forums for adobe. Or check the link I've posted in the description

"The source compression type is not supported" comes from the fact that the file was encoded using codec that is not included in the Adobe suite ur using.

Commonly, this is FLV files encoded with Sorenson Spark codec. Basically, that's a codec that must be licensed separately, & Adobe doesn't license it for CS5 (and later). But in CS4 (and earlier), it was supported. That's why the uploader didn't know anything about the issue.

Bottom line: convert it with a different program. Try iWisoft Free
